CC weekly challenge - using shapes to make other shapes

CropChocolate.com's weekly challenge was to create a project using simple shapes to create another shape.  I decided to make a flower out of stars (although sometimes when I look at it, it looks more like the sun or a star).

I wanted to create a birthday card with this one.  I was originally thinking that I might give it to my dad, but now that I've completed it, I think I'm going to give it to a friend instead.

I had the MME L&F Union Square out from another project, so I started with that paper.  I used two different size star punches (4 of each), 3/4" circle punch, organdy sheer ribbon, BG whirlie whirl clear stamps, and SU punch box stamp.
