Babies - Paper Girls Challenge

This week's Paper Girls Challenge was to create a project about babies.  And since I am so behind on scrapping my two babies (well, they aren't really babies anymore), I grabbed the chance to at least get one LO done.  I chose to do the day that my DS and I came home from the hospital.  It was a very vulnerable moment for us as new parents.

Since a few years ago, I had planned out all these pages in advance (to save time later picking out supplies), I unfortunately don't remember most of the products I used.  I do know that I used SU's Nursery Letters stamping wheel, and SU's garden green ink.  As for the rest, I'm not really sure.

I had fun reminiscing about those days 7.5 years ago, that it might just give me the inspiration I need to finish some more of his pages, and maybe some of my DD's pages (that was only 4 years ago).  LOL

So thanks Paper Girls for the push I needed.

GO BIG - Paper Girls

This week's Paper Girls Challenge was to GO BIG!!!  We were supposed to use a larger size photo - 5x7 or bigger.  So I decided to use one of the many photos from my first 3-day walk.  It happened to be one of the port-o-potty lines!!!  At every pit stop, there was a line of port-o-potties for us to use, and we found it humorous, as it is rare to see so many at once.

Walking as far as we do also starts to get to your emotions and patience.  So one of the ways we tried to make ourselves laugh, was when we saw a sign announcing a pit stop, we would start saying that we needed to "go potty", which one time got us to "the loo".  You kind of had to be there to fully appreciate the humor in it.

Anyway, here is the LO:

The products I used were: SU In Color blue cs, and Pink Passion Ink; OT BC stamps and button; MAMBI paper; MM cheeky shimmer stickers - pink; cs scraps; MM glitter clears - flowers; lattice border punch.

I had fun making this LO.  Hope you have fun looking at it.
